COVID-19 variants are raising concerns of the entire world. Now experts are saying most possibly third wave of COVID19 may affect the whole world. Where experts are struggling to detect or understand the mutation of the variant. Here one more new variant is knocking the door named as Delmicron and experts believes that this variant is responsible for COVID mini tsunami in Europe an U.S. it is expected that it may be more transmissible.
It is the combination of two existing variants Delta and Omicron. It is a double variant of COVID19 which is spreading very fast in western countries. Delmicron shows more or less the same symptoms as Omicron and Delta as its parent variant. It is highly transmissible in nature. And it may be severe in nature. Experts say it will weaken the immune system of elderly people and those who are suffering from pre disease are at high risk of getting infected.
Some researchers warn that recombination of variants may worsen the condition because it may be more powerful due to the extremely rare condition of any event. It may be an uncontrollable event in future. It may be the 3rd wave of COVID 19 or super strain of COVID 19.
There is no such clear information about this strain, research is going on so it is very much difficult to conclude but as we know Omicron and Delta variants are its parent variants so some symptoms are also the same as the parent variant.
AstraZeneca said that the booster dose of its coronavirus vaccine Vaxzevria is having high levels of antibodies against Omicron.
And Some studies say a booster dose of Pfizer-BioNTech's or Moderna 's COVID19 vaccines are effective protection against the Omicron variant .
Research is still going on so we have to take extra precautions. Vaccines have undoubtedly saved many lives and booster doses are also available. The people who have been vaccinated are at much lower risk of developing severe disease and death to both Delta and Omicron variants. So experts say get fully vaccinated and take precautions.
